Performance

The BMC air filters that replace the originals are high-performance regenerable filters that allow the capacity of the intake air flow to be improved compared to traditional paper filters, with evident benefits in the quality of engine combustion.

Design and Materials

BMC air filters are made using a process called "Full Molding" which allows the characteristic red filter to be obtained from a single molding without requiring gluing in the corners, which causes easy breakage. The particular rubber used in BMC filtration systems is practically non-deformable over time and with excellent adhesion characteristics to any form of airbox.

Advanced technology

BMC air filters are made of a multi-layer cotton fabric soaked in low viscosity oil, inserted between two aluminum mesh structures. The aluminum nets are treated with epoxy resin to protect them from oxidation caused by fuel vapors and humidity present in the air.
