Performance increase: 15-18 hp, 12-16 ft-lb
Fitment: W177 A45 and A45S, C118 CLA45 and CLA45S: M139 Engine
The Mercedes M139 intake for the A45 and CLA45 was developed to allow the turbo to take in a smoother path for airflow. By redesigning the system to allow a much more direct path, the turbo is able to generate boost with less resistance and therefore reach target boost pressure earlier in the rpm range. This intake system was developed to offer the highest possible flow rate while maintaining the lowest possible intake temperatures to produce a clear performance gain. The unrestricted flow path also allows you to feel the turbo spool more clearly, adding dynamics to the overall driving experience.
The Eventuri difference
The 2.0 TFSi system uses our patent-pending carbon fiber housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo tube. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that allows the airflow to remain laminar and therefore improve turbo efficiency.
